The School of Humanities is committed to the provision of cutting edge research and teaching in all its disciplines and fostering the development of interdisciplinary work in the University and beyond.

We aim to nurture scholarly vitality and creative energy in all our staff and students. By means of a diverse and innovative range of programmes we aim to encourage independence of mind and intellectual self-confidence in all our students. We welcome students from all ages and backgrounds.
