The Computing Department consistently achieves national and international recognition for its research. We were rated as `Excellent` in the most recent national audit of computer science teaching, putting us in the top 10% of UK universities. Our staff of 90 academics, researchers, technicians and other assistants provides a supportive community for 100 postgraduate students.
